Despite having a degree in music, Rachel decided journalism was the career for her.
She put her piano playing on the back burner and now follows the lives of the good and great of the entertainment world.
Rachel grew up in Sussex, but spent three years in the bright lights of London whilst studying at King’s College and the Royal Academy of Music. Rachel went on to qualify from the National Broadcasting School.
She was first star-struck when she met James McAvoy during a work placement at Radio Clyde, in Glasgow. From then on she was hooked on showbiz! After a year reading the news and reporting from across the south coast for Original 106, she took up a post at Entertainment News in 2008.
In Rachel’s role as Film Editor, Rachel’s met a whole host of famous faces – she’s talked to
Colin Firth about stammering kings and dancing queens; she’s picked up beauty tips from Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz, and she’s had a nose around George Lucas’ famous Skywalker Ranch.
When Rachel’s not got her teeth into a juicy celebrity story, she likes going shopping, recreating Gordon Ramsey’s culinary delights, spending time with friends, and watching the latest Hollywood blockbuster!
