Charlie Brandon King started out studying Music Production at Northbrook College in West Sussex where she gained her degree. Within the following year Charlie found herself at the door of UBC Media Group’s Entertainment News division.
Here, Charlie does all the recording, editing and mixing of UBC Media Group’s audio (and some video) content. As an engineer, Charlie covers all production aspects of Entertainment News’ bulletins and packages.
Interviews are recorded and filmed in one of Entertainment News’ professional studios
which means Charlie’s been able to meet loads of great people over the past 4 years. In
fact, in Charlie’s first week she met Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland from Coldplay which was very surreal! However, Charlie says her best ‘celeb’ moment was meeting blues musician Seasick Steve, pictured here.
Charlie is not easily star struck but she didn’t really know what to say to him!
